We are delighted to introduce the exquisite Reserva from the 2014 harvest, a true expression of the Alentejo region. Grown on clay and schist soil, it originates from the strains of Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional.
With a ruby hue and violet hints, the complex aroma of ripe red fruits, wildflowers, and spices is well-integrated with vanilla and toasted notes. The palate is well-balanced, rich and round with a structure of smooth tannins. Overall, this wine is best enjoyed with full-flavored and roasted red meats or pork.
Hand-harvested and fermented with controlled temperature in open vats, this wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in oak barrels and is then aged for 9 months in French oak barrels.
The wine has an alcohol content of 14%, total acidity of 5.6g/l, a pH of 3.58, and volatile acidity of 0.71g/l. This “Reserva” is available in a 0.75L bottle and comes with tasting notes to fully appreciate its rich and complex flavors.
Savor the taste of Alentejo in every sip of this exquisite wine.
