Introducing the exquisite Red Selection wine, harvested in 2017 and originating from the strains of Aragonez, Syrah, and Touriga Nacional.
This red wine has a beautiful ruby hue with violet hints and an intense aroma of red and black forest fruits, harmoniously combined with floral and toasted notes. The Red Selection wine’s palate is smooth and silky, with nice acidity and very juicy and fruity flavors. Its tannins are gentle and provide a perfect balance to the wine’s overall taste. This Portuguese wine pairs perfectly with Mediterranean food in general, pasta, lamb, poultry, and soft cheeses. The Red Selection wine was fermented with controlled temperatures of 21ºC to 25ºC in stainless steel vats and underwent malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats with oak staves. Part of the blend was aged in French oak barrels, giving it a unique and fine flavor. Additionally, it underwent mechanical harvesting during the night, followed by total destemming and a 48-hour maceration before fermentation. Its analysis shows an alcohol content of 13.5%, a total acidity of 5.4g/l, a pH of 3.60, and a volatile acidity of 0.52g/l.
